Cananga Essential Oil Overview
What Is It?
Cananga essential oil comes from the vibrant yellow flowers of the cananga tree, native to tropical Asia and part of the sugar apple family. Related to Ylang Ylang, Cananga contains higher levels of β-Caryophyllene, giving it a sweet, floral, and rich aroma. Traditionally used in Indonesia to symbolize happiness, this oil is perfect for creating a calming and relaxing atmosphere.
How to Use
Relaxing Bath: Mix 2–3 drops with a tablespoon of carrier oil and add to a warm Epsom salt bath.
Diffuser: Add 3–4 drops to your diffuser for a restful ambiance.
Massage: Dilute 1 drop in 2 drops of carrier oil for a soothing massage.
